Excellent spiral! I like these colors and forms. Well done! (See the little bit of red in the highlights on some of the gold "ribs" that swirl away from the center? You can lose those by moving the "trailing" or left edge of your mask layer's opacity control points just a bit to the left and also by adding another white color control point just to the left of the white in the gold color bar. You see this a lot - I call it "completing the gradient" because here it has rotated back down to black/dark b4 it has completed the highlight. Hope you don't mind me saying that but this is an awesome image and just needs that little extra detail. :?)
