Fabulous terrain, Jeff, as well as details!! If you want the mountains farther away, a little more haze.

The terrains are perfect (as always). The mountain range looks very realistic. If you want to change anything I would maybe change the light on the castle to make the details better visible. Excellent work!

If I could do some criticism, I think the lighting is not so good: at the foreground, it looks like a quite horizontal yellow ray from the sun, in contrario of the very cold blue ambiant light on the background moutain, witch should be more warm. Another thing is the very contrasted difference in type of terrain between fore and background witch is not so realistic in geologic issue. Anyway, you do so good procedural terrain that I only admire your job. Bravo !!!

You are really doing some great things with these procedurals terrains, Jeff! Not sure I can really crit anything here...since I still haven't figured out how to do it myself '-)...but maybe a bit of foam around the rocks here! As for the lighting I'm wondering if you are using jus t a sun/directional and if so the difference in tones may be a result of your haze color! Ohhhh, and one final thing...I hope there is a table laden with victuals for this intrepid horseman '-)!

It is coming along just fine. I agree it's the lighting that needs work. Well done!

Nice composition, great terrains. I agree that the lighting needs work - those mountains should "look" much further away than they do. There are also too many areas of deep shadow which don't add (IMO) to the image. I'd also go for soft shadows, they look rather hard edged at the moment. And it definitely needs some foam / spray around the rocks!! :-)

Another excellent series of terrains; really excellent stuff. The lighting might do with a bit of fiddling, but overall, beautiful landscape.
