Description
The Guardian of The Great Orb stirs restlessly at the approach of the Nina. Storm-tossed though she may be, no excuse is accepted by this jealous Guard, all perish who set foot here since the last priestess died.
But The Great Orb's power increases as time passes. Strong currents coruscate across its surface, leaking out into the charged air... A new servant is needed soon, before the Orb's power becomes too great, too fierce to control. Where is the new priestess?
(Finally got the DOF sorted - what do you think folks? I hope there isn't too much needs changing on this, as my computer seems to be finding this image a bit too big & clunky to manage easily. But any suggestions welcomed)
(Dome Designed by Lale Erguner for the Bryce List Feb 2004 Challenge. "The Nina" is by the wonderful Jed Swindells. The Orb is made by me, Fran Baker. The Dragon is Daz's Millenium Dragon. And one of the Seriously Real textures is used on the rocks)

Looks cool!

The dragon turned out great, and I like the fiery volumetric effects on the orb! The sky is bland, looks very stock-library Brycean and too basic. I think the foreground water is shaped okay, but the material doesn't seem watery, more of a thin film? Reflections aren't really there? Hope I'm not TOO critical, but you can take it M'lady!

I agree about the sky and ocean? But a terrific image over all!

I haven't done anything to either the sky or the water, the thin film is a naff mist attempt, I'm working on that. Thanks for the comments all.
