Description
She walked silently through the woods, to the falls she had called her "quiet place" as a child. She hoped to recapture some of that wonder she had the first time she found this place. She knew every twig in the forest like the back of her hand. But there was none of that wonder when saw it, like she had been here one to many times. Dissapointed, she turned around to leave, and she heard a noise from high in the sky.
She looked to see a rather large bird, none of the likes, she'd never seen before, as it was getting ready to land in a tree. There in that tree there was a nest...and that sense of wonder and peace, and something new in the world came tumbling back.
Bobby, I just wanted to say Thanks for the great gift. Lavidia is beautiful.

Dear Anna, I am so sorry and so ashamed I am this far behind on visiting friends galleries. I have been so swamped with everything. The get well card slowed me down a lot. I have answered over 5000 IMs. Im so proud of our community! So many wonderful caring people! But it has left me terribly far behind on everything. Ive got 1500 e-bot notices Im trying to work through. Im going to visit all the current ones as quickly as possible and then work on the backlog as time permits. It will take me a while, but I will eventually catch up and will in time visit everyones postings. Until I can get caught up, Im gonna spend my gallery visiting time looking and enjoying and try not to type as much as I usually do. I hope everyone understands that I am running as fast as I can. It's funny how coincidences happy - just a couple of gallery stops back, the supject was also the wonders that children see and that we adults often (usually) overlook. I too have gone back to plays hoping to recapture a particular feeling. But even if the place is the same, I find that I'm not quite the same - so I too am often disappointed as this girl was. But I have learned to look for the "wonders" and to try to see them. Sometimes I even manage it!! Really nice scene to go with your text - and the sense of wonder is apparent in her eyes!!
