Description
Bit of a dark scan of a oil painting from about 2 years ago. Found this while clearing out old files. The painting was sold soon after I finished it, so I will never have a better record of this image.

You may just find another level of yourself that you never knew you had... sometimes losing a part brings out another.... change can be a good thing =] i love the texture on his skin... what a beautiful painting

Beautiful, beautiful work! The quality of paintwork in the skin is really wonderful. I find the best cure for selling a good painting that you don't have a great record of - is just to paint the next painting - even better! If you can do THIS painting - you can do THAT! :-)

pleasing to the mind or feelings. I can imagine how u sold this with out much trouble because i would be happy to have it on my wall. It looks great dark. I give a ten because for one your skill in oilpainting is very good. 2nd anatomy is very good. 3rd it is passionate. f a n t a s t i c

For a painting, it's beautiful to me..The mans texture is incredible..But maybe you lost your "poetic elament" because you sold it with your hard work.

excellent!

Hi there... This is amazing..! It is a pity that you've sold it, as you've lost a work that you'll most likely never be able to replace and save one for yourself. I once faced a situation like this, where they offered many bucks for my exhibited works. Those many bucks were just the 'call of the wild', but I was not able to sell any of the works as I was not going to be able to replace the material that I had used in that exhibition if I had sold them. Yet, the money was huge...in my terms. Would you like to check 'www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=85453&Start=1&Artist=doruksal&ByArtist=Yes', where you'll be able to find those works that I'm talking about..? Congratulations for your achievement... :)

Lovely work! I hope that next time you're able to get, at the very least, high quality transparencies of your paintings -- or just keep the paintings and sell prints instead. :)

Absolutely powerful painting - somewhere out there is a very proud and happy owner.

Beautiful, there's so much depth in there. And I've seldom seen such fluorescent blues in an oil painting. A much respectful "10"

This is beautiful, the color and expression, when you find what you have lost i hope you totally out do your self (your later are incedable)

You really have an amazing talent. I could post this same comment to all of your images. I pray you are making a comfortable living through your art and not toiling through the 40 hour work week squeezing time in for creation. Don't stop!
