Description

It was fun to do postwork in this picture from the way the lighting hit this ol' car. Take care, ~Joe~

Beautiful job desaturating the rest of the photo to that wonderful cream tone to really bring out the dark red of the coupe. Your postworking skills are fantastic, Joe. Are you a Photoshopper?

The smooth elegance of the front end is jerked by the rear view mirrors and the fuzzy dice. (I also am sure it's a 46 by the raised center stripe of the hood and side stainless trim.) I first decided on a 47-48 from a cover car in CarCraft blue with a pancake hood and a Chevrolet engine must have been in 1956. My taste in shrunken heads and fuzzy dice and the appearance of the clampon mirrors then demanded fiberglassing over the part of the grille shell where the upper white metal grille bar was. Later a convertible appeared with frenched on 1953 Ford headlight rims not quite as graceful as this, Dodge Dart or Ford pickup 1954? The air conditioning hose for freon looks even more inviting than the blower.
