I went outside today and walked in the pouring rain Soaked through to the bone, however, I felt no pain Overhead swirling clouds gathered My breath quickening, as heart beats faster Lightening struck and thunder roared In the tree a raven cawed as it soared Tears fell like rain drops and washed away my sins It's been awhile since I'm happy to be in my own skin Drip drop, drip drop Rain, rain don

"Tears fell like rain drops and washed away my sins, It's been awhile since I'm happy to be in my own skin." Man, do I identify with this. I too, feel the cleansing that comes from standing in the rain. Makes a girl sane, even if everyone watching things your insane. Great work!

Wow, I think you just put too many of my own day's, nights, thoughts and emotions into word's far more elegantly than I ever could... "Tears fell like rain drops and washed away my sins, it's been awhile since I've been happy to be in my own skin." The entire writeing brought chills!! I absolutely love the rain, and the best way I've ever been able to express it to people, is as a cleansing feeling after a good walk in the pouring rain..
