Well... finally got a fairly ok pic of myself... I had a lot of fun playing with it. Real washed out, but oh well. I liked it. :D
Yay!!! I finally have my own quote!
"It's a poison seed I've swollowed and it's spreading like bermuda grass in the sun."
-Diana HilliardBIOOk first of all I guess I should say the obvious, though some people don't seem to listen anyway. ALL the pictures in this gallery are copyright to me, Diana Hilliard. They cannot be used in anyway with out permission. If you want to use them, please ask. Recently I've seen a couple of my images taken and used without permission. *grrrrrrr* ASK PEOPLE!
A little about me... I've been drawing for as long as I could remember. I've been through the long list of things I wanted to do from being an animator to working for Marvel. Ok so since none of those are ever going to pan out, I content myself with painting and drawing, and this past year in January finally really getting into 3d painting, which I find far less messy. :D I have several novels in the works... so someday maybe.
My website is in the process of being revamped at the moment but the less pretty version is up and running still:
Lunar Labyrinth
And a look at what it will look like when I'm done :D
Lunar Labyrinth Update
Oh, and just in case anyone is wondering, I got the nickname Dido from my little sister. I had it before the singer. ;)
Thanks for stopping by to my little hole here at Renderosity. Please feel free to IM me with any questions. :D
Also, I'm always open to the idea of commissions just in case anyone would ever be so inclined.
Currently working on...
My Fiction Novel (two chapters done)
Testing for the RMP
Trying to keep up with my artwork
Trying to branch more into 2d work

I still hold the crown for being behind, so no worries on your part. ;) Why is it I can't come up with some incredible image when my muse parts company? This is absolutely stunning! I love the way the wind's caught her hair, and your postwork is absolutely divine as always. Exceptional!

Absolutely stunning! In my favorite hues, too! This image speaks for itself and is worked into a godlike monolith of perfection! Superb artistry!!

She looks as dangerous and cold as the west wind can be, yet with life to face the east wind.

Im so sorry I am so far behind. Im trying hard to catch up and busily slaying e-bots!! (What else is new??) Until I can get caught up, Im still going to mostly just be leaving behind my calling card. But Id also like to leave a suggestion with everyone. In the three months Ive been here at Renderosity, Ive made a huge number of wonderful friends that really mean the world to me. And Id like to share a technique with everyone. Take a minute each day and have a look at Whats New. Pick out the work of someone you dont know, pop it open and have a nice little look at what they have done. And dont just look at people that do the same things as you. Pick from all the different categories and programs. You will learn a lot and youll get new ideas for postings. This cross pollination will help us build more robust hybrid art. All of the Old Masters in art history spent a great deal of time learning from the Old Masters of their day AND from each other. If we do the same, our work will continue to get better and better. And sometimes pick someone that is just starting out and give them a hand share YOUR knowledge with a newcomer. And then send them a brief IM. Introduce yourself and tell them how much you like their work. Just by making the introduction, youve just taken the MOST IMPORTANT step toward making a new friend!!! Everyone will learn from each other and each new friendship is one more stitch in this Tapestry of Friends that is Renderosity!!! SO MAKE ONE NEW FRIEND EACH DAY!!! Love, Meredith PS - This is really stunning!!! So beautiful and I love the colors and her hair. Good luck with your computer!! Maybe we can catch up together!!! ;-)
