This is amazingly colorful work. i'm not sure if this was computer work, or a real brush and paint, but it's fantastic!!!!

Looks like you opened a tube of paint and the image just eased itself out and onto the canvas on it's own ;)

Wow! It looks as if you're exploring new artistic venues ... this is excellent. Love the colors, composition, and (of course) mood. I look forward to more.

That big swatch of red does create a somewhat oppressive feeling around the character's head. The rest of the color fields look very reassuring by contrast. Nicely done.

Once I get over the initial shock of this new direction, I applaud it totally. This work is more than a literal red-daubed brush with mortality. isacos is right to bring in the Fauve, but I really don't feel as happy about the other colours as most of the commentors here; there is a touch of menace in those Hulkish greens and plums, despite the title. Your brushwork has a nice, abstract touch, and the contrasting details of the head and hips where you have built up the layers are good. I would like to see more of this type of layered work on the torso and arm and a touch more colour in the lower background under the feet. This would serve to even out the eye time over the whole field. Its a lovely work, I do hope you grace us with more.

Wonderful free piece. Not sure that I agree with bost. How does one edit the colors in a dream? The image has that ethereal quality to it. I'm not sure that formal compositional devices are of much relevance here. let's see more....
