Description

Forests where the humidity is high enough throughout the year have some special attraction for me. Lichens hanging in the branches of the trees, telling me the air is clean and there is enough moisture for them to grow slowly. It marks the start of an easy hike in the Saxet Valley, starting at about 1100 meter (3600 ft) up to about 1600 meter (5250 ft). Very lovely capture and great depth of field achieved in this photo. I love the varying shades of green here too.
