Description
This is my beloved cat, Culligan. AKA Cullibah, and Cully, and Mr Tail. This photo isnt great, I know. Its not properly focused, it isnt highly artistic. However, that was 2 weeks ago, the first time I had seen my best friend and fellow trouble maker since the middle of April. Its no great secret that animals of this nature need to be kept in quarantine for 6 months from thier entering the UK. ( yes I know there is something caled PetPassport..but I messed up on that)
The reason this photo is blurry is because I was crying. And i was crying because he was shaking so terribly, even as bright eyed as he looks in this photo - just shaking, trembling. It brings tears to my eye even now. For a full week after that visit, I was haunted by nightmares. i dreamed about cats in refrigerators. ( I thought he was too cold at the facilty..Britain isnt exactly warm) But when I saw him the following week, he was utterly fine. He roamed about his outside walk and sat in our laps. I believe he just had to know I was there, I didnt just give him away.
Happily, he is let out in october, and I cant wait. I still wake up at night and miss his form beneath the covers, nose tucked into my arm.

He loves his soccer ball. hes really quite good at playing with it, hed be one hell of a goal keeper. I should get him a wee Manchester United tshirt.

HEY CULLIGAN CAT! wow, this cat has a bigger mustache than i do. so what your saying is that when you moved to england, that you had culligan flown over later, and the poor kittie had to stay locked up in an english pound for 6 months, BY LAW? that is just cruel, for both of you. honestly, that sux. no wonder the kittie was all a'tremor. wicked bad. utterly sad

nono, Cully came over before I did. About 2 weeks before I did. hes still In the quarantine, until October.

Poor cat and poor owner. I thought that with electonic material (puce in French) under the skin, the quarantine could be avoided. Must be terrible for him and you. The picture is a temoignage.
