Having lived in NYC for so many years, you are bound to get the big city blues from time to time. For me, my favorite remedy was to get going and lose myself in the bustling steets of Chinatown, marveling at all the fish. I love the bakeries there especially Lung Moon where you can buy a big bag of defective fortune cookies for a buck, sit in the nearby park, feed the cookies to the pigeons and read about all the good things that would happen to me..."soon"...

Buying your fortune by the bag? Isn't that overdoing it? ;-) Our chinese restaurants don't have Fortune Cookies. I only know them from American movies 'n series. This could just as wel be a necklace with shells.
