Description

My grandfather always treated me as though I were very special. I recently found this picture of him and his mother. I understand who I am a bit better now. She and I look so much alike. This is my tribute to them both. I guess you could say it's me looking through a window to the past. Thanks for viewing and commenting.

The idea here was "looking at the past". I didn't want it to be a picture on a wall or something. I wanted something more surreal than that. This is a photo of my great grandmother, Josie and my grandfather, Billy. Sadly, Pawpaw passed away on September 29, 2005. I learned shortly before then about this photo. There had been questions about my eyes and coloring from the time I'd been born. This photo shows where I got both. I got my eyes and coloring from Josie. I never met her but I love her and Pawpaw with all my heart and always will.
