Description

Just something I'm working on. It's going to be the chassis for an open engine roadster. I'm not sure what kind of body I'm going to put on it, but I don't plan on doing anything typical. :)

You're not thinking weight bearing yet. There has to be some sort of appendage out there for the top of the spring to go in between the lower wishbone and itself. Whether it has an upper wishbone is a matter of correct geometry and cost and weight. Then you want to look at roll center. For unequal length (bottom longer than top) the roll center is on the road surface or beneath it which is bad. This is more like a rear which once was live axle or DeDion upper tube connecting the two sides but became parallelogram. The modelling will all work out. You do very good work.
