Description

This was conceived to give that old French impressionist master a run for his Monet (insert groan here) but as always things turn out differently than we imagine. This is constructed with 100%, all natural fractal formulae, no artificial colors, additives or pixel formulae (but with a liberal sprinkling of transformations). Perhaps I will tweak it a bit, possibly add more flowers... This seems an appropriate place to publish my little limerick: "As an artist I'm not very practical, so I have to be thoroughly tactical, though I can't draw a line, I am doing just fine, by using techinques Ultra Fractical!" :-)

This is so cool! I love your water and I can't wait for these new formulas. Exquisite combination of mathematics and artistry. :)

No new fractal formulae--all are public save a slightly modified "Lake" transform which I will upload at some point.

An amazing lily pond complete with ripples and reflecting clouds on the water. Stunning. Very creative. Yes, very Monet-like image.

Lol, I love that limerick! I can't draw a straight line either. The image is an absolute impressionist image. And all UF? The flower is lovely. imo no need to add more flowers. The painting, sorry image, is beautiful as is.

LOVE the limerick - we should have T-shirts made:) The fractal is enchanting, right down to the shadows under the lily pads. Your use of the lake transform is masterful, too. Great job!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, and when you are about to add more flowers, how's about a little frog? :-)

Wow! I think I was walking around this pond yesterday. Does it have a little bridge just upstream? Gorgeous impression of water lilies. :)

Outstanding!!! You planned very carefully on this, as there is the reflection of clouds and other greenery that is not in the picture only the wonderful water reflections. Superb!! So glad to see you doing a landscape composition!! How about for the next one you bring the camera up a bit and show that lovely arched bridge over the water? :)))
