Hi. :)) How has everyone's week been? I hope that you each are having a wonderful week. This week for me has been getting ready for my children to get out of school for the summer, and a cookout my husband and I are throwing for my daughter and a bunch of her friends. Lord help me when all these boys and girls get together. I shot this image yesterday in our backyard and when I seen this pretty Water Lily what came to mind is New Beginnings, because my daughter now will be going into her first year of High school this Fall, and New Beginnings will happen once again. I wish you each Beautiful Beginnings in whatever your heart desires, and I wish you each tonite dreams of when you were young and care free like my daughter. Thank you each for not giving up on me, for your time, and for your comments. Have a Most Gorgeous Day. :))))))))))))))))))))

The thumbnail had me nailed and I am enjoying seeing it large. My water lilies have not flowered yet, a bit disappointing as my daughter is starting high school too in the fall as it will be my sons last year. Interesting how similar some lives are miles apart, especially for strangers in general other than an interest in this site. The photograph is beautifully rendered. The overcast sky (I presume) as we have no highlights or shadows give of a perfect lighting and allowing all the variation and shades of the water lily's colour come to life.

sis again im in awe of your photography..u are an artist of the lens....this looks as if it should b in Natl Geographic...who knows maybe one day someone from there who hires will c this and ascoop ya up..they def should!!!!..love ya
