Description

Modelled with MicroStation V8 against a Terragen background. Thumbnail icon created using Paint Shop. The palm trees were recently created using MicroStation in an effort to cut out the vectorwood trees, which have been sucking the life out of my computer's resources. Downloaded and converted to DXF, these mathematical maples made me miserable, weighing in between 2 and 5 megabytes each. My answer to them was to move the city toward the equator a bit. The new Palm trees are only 76k each. The yuccas are 46k each. I can breathe again, and it dosen't take 30 minutes to open the model anymore! Animating this city is now inevitable.
