Description

This is a Transparant Watercolor. I didn't do all this one on my own. My teacher held my hand through the entire painting process. She even demonstrated some brushstrokes on the elk painting...But I am glad she did, because I had no idea...and have learned much from her instruction on this one. I would like to say I did this all by myself...but that wouldn't be cool. I did do quite a bit though, including the original pencil sketch, most the trees, most the elk, most the antlers, most the sky...she did some details here and there, and helped w/colors, technique, the lake, and most the grass....and she also corrected quite a few of my mistakes, and told me how to correct some of my mistakes...which I did...as she held my hand. Regardless, I am still happy with this, and she is also pleased. She thinks it is good as done...but I am thinking I may detail the antlers a bit more. Although she wants me to, I am not going to sign my name on this one...it just wouldn't feel right.
