Another day, better weather! Juhuh!
Taking the chance for a hike in Glen Affric.
On the way I noticed that most little islands were sunken in the Lochs and only the tops of the trees were to be seen.
At some places the water of the lakes reached the edge of the road.

The submerged land creating multiple islands like little outcroppings of stepping stones for a giant to navigate about the waters egde and maybe even cross the lake. But alas there are trees and they only would end up as splinters in his feet. I can see the wind bellowing and howling, blowing with all force as the ferns are bent to one side and almost to the ground. Surprised you were even able to satnd straight and get this photograph without leaning to one side. Nice to see a bit of sunlight grace the back hillside as we see so much overcast before. I also like especially this type of framing as it does not distract from the image. More of a professional presentation.
