Don't know if this counts as transportation, but couldn't think which other category it would go in!
A couple of years ago I spent some time around the Humber estuary, weather was brilliant, very 'contrasty', but couldn't resist the blue-yellow-white contrast of this dockside crane and the sky!

Very nice image! I like the contrast between the yellow and the blue background. I would choose a different point of view so the crane is not centered so much in the frame. Nice work! :)

Hi Kelvin, good to see you back. Was going to ask you which side of the bank you took this, Doh! I guess the words 'Port of Hull' is a bit of a clue. Fantastic bright and very sharp image!!! In answer to escafeld, I used an old Epson 1200, and scanned the print at 400 dpi - think it worked well, compared to previous scans, because the original image was so clear and sharp (unlike most of my dark, grainy stuff!). I was actually on a bunkering barge in Albert Dock - the next dock along from King George Dock (where the ferries go from), grabbed this shot as we came alongside a timber carrier that wanted refueling.
