hey, this is my first post in the 3d max gallery. This is still a wip, but i hope you could give me some tips on how to improve it. Textures done in terragen, except for cloud layer, which was found in google..... TFV&C

mabe add a slight reflection to the waters surface, and a few stars (not too obviously a white shine) keep it up!

The atmosphere looks very real. I often tried to create earthlike planets, but was never satisfied with the result. Yours is great. Have to agree with leecant about the stars,

Very nice planet. My first 3dsmax image was a planet. I am proud of it. It looks good. :-D

Just came across the link here on the Terragen Yahoo list. Only suggstion I can make is maybe some more various in landscape. That's a LOT of vegies on that planet for such a small amount of cloud cover =) Maybe including some regions of browns/ochres for deserts, and possibly white in the polar reaches for snow. Of course, I'm making these suggestions with no REAL idea of how to go about doing it, but hopefully my suggestions will still help. In and of itself, and awesome work so far. Looking forward to further releases =)
