Description

You guys know how much I love fire performance. Got the chance to photograph a bit of it last night. Was invited by Hypnox (extraordinary local underground photographer - see www.hypnox.com [probably not work safe]) to shoot at his birthday party. Why is it I have cake and maybe a movie during my birthday and he gets fire performance, belly dancers, suspension piercists and tons of incredibly sexy females in leather, latex and rubber? Hmmmmmm ... Anyway, I think I am finally getting a feel for shooting fire performance. One piece was missing from last night, but I know what it was. Next time should really be able to capture it the way I want. Canon EOS 10D - Tamron 28-75mm F/2.8 Di Lens - Ambient Light [handheld]

My own thoughts about this photo is that it is quite finite & portrays the feel of the people who watched!!!!!!!!!! What more could you want-but then you sound like a perfectionist in that nothing is ever good enough for you even if it is EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So sharp and clear Donald..... tried shooting fire performers last Saturday.... ended up with a lot of blurry messes..... some posted in forum under the heading of Waterfire. Wish I knew your "secret" for getting such clear results.
