Trying out my new zoom lens (had to lay a biscuit trap to get this birdie to come down onto the wall :)

I'm thinking about getting the sigma 75-300mm and the 25-80mm telephoto lenses, which did you get chem? great shot of the birdy :) I've been watching for the little squirel over at my gf's that drinks from the pond but so far no luck... wonder if baiting him with some nuts will work :)

got the Canon EF 90-300mm f4.5-5.6.... Heres a pic of it http://hellmouth.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/IMG_0189_1.JPG I'm saving for the Canon 100mm Macro lens next (the true 1:1 macro one) let me know how you get on with your macro extension tubes and the stock lens coz that may be a cheaper alternative ;o)

Caleb remember also that because you are using a digital SLR (with a smaller sensor than film) the zoom lengths of any EF lens will be multiplied by 1.6..... so effectively my 90-300mm is really 144-480mm (this doesn't apply to the EF-S with shortback focus coz those are designed purely for digital EOS's)
