Description

Listen to the Wind When the sun lights the dawn of a new day, rejoice and know that the sun's light and warmth abide also in you. When the wind blows through the trees, listen to its voice and your own quiet voice within. When it rains, smile for God is watering the Earth and our lives. When you hear a bird sing, be grateful that you too have a voice that can carry a song to another's heart. When it snows, watch in awe and wonder this soft miracle of God's creation and be conscious of your own gentleness. When you behold the sky, be aware of the inifinite possibilities ever present to you in your time on Earth. When clouds scud across the sky, understand that no cloud will stay in your life for very long. When the sun sets below the horizon, give thanks for the day and all its gifts to you. When the moon rises in the night sky, know it as the light that leads us in the darkness; we are never alone. When you look up at the stars, remember those who have gone before and will come after and allow the light that is within you, your own star, to shine forth. And, when you stand at the edge of the sea and feel its timeless rhythm, let your Self be silent so that you may know that which it is in you that is eternal.
