Description

An odd story to this render. My wife often helps to inspire and review my work. I put this work together rather quickly, and she hadn't previously seen the image. On looking at it, she paused and then fetched an old dusty album from her teenage years to show me the following lyric Extract from Rush, Hemisperes: Cygnus - Bringer of Balance: I have memory and awareness But I have no shape of form As a disembodied spirit I am dead and yet unborn I have passed into Olympus As was told in tales of old To the City of Immortals Marble white and purest gold I see the Gods in battle rage on high Thunderbolts across the sky I cannot move, I cannot hide I feel a silent scream begin inside Evidently, the picture fitted her imagining of the scene almost perfectly. I had never listened to the album before, and my wife had never previously mentioned the song or imagery to me. Very strange ......
