Description

Out strolling around my yard this afternoon, in search of bugs and birds, this sweet Woodpecker took pity on me and posed perfectly for me. (If only I had my new lens, it would have turned out LOTS BETTER) It was fun capturing something besides BlueJays and Robins. :) Hope you all are doing great .. and are enjoying your Memorial weekend. What a great find and capture Sharilyn!!! We have loads of woodpeckers at home these days...and they sure are pretty...as long as they stay away from the porch..which they dont, lol. Excellent work too, zooming in on it throught those branches and leaves. You did GREAT!!!! Have a wonderful sunday #:O)

this is something I expect to see in a wildlife book. Maybe even National Geographic! Excellent shot, and kudos for the woodpecker for posing so nicely :)
