NIce design for the ships, lots of detailing
FuneralLaugh
Been noticing an increase in "professionalism" in your most recent images. Crit (based on nit-pickiness): There's a higlight/color dodge beneath both ships, in the atmosphere of the planet. Perhaps unintentional, but they seem out of place and too rectangular. Suggestion: dull the brightness of the center glowing area (using any method such as blur, burning, or patching via Photoshop). On the right side of image, directly above the surface of the atmosphere, the field is completely black whilst the opposite side of the image in the same area has noticable stars (bright ones showing, while the dimmer ones are faded out by the glow of the exhaust is excellent POV). Suggestion: instead of fading so far above the atmosphere, bring the stars down just a bit more, but not necessarily hugging the planet. And just a personal taster's choice (rolls eyes): I think this image (as with most galatic images) could use a photo/film grain look... but nothing drastic to warp out the starfield. You know I love your sh*t, man... and I crit you out of love. (blows raspberry):P Keep it up. Oh... what's DoGa? Never heard of it.

Background look great... ships are simply amazing... Yup, it's great. I've never heard of DoGa either. Nothing useful to say just whistling in admiration. =)

Hello Dudes! Ah, DoGa...Well just put it in on Google, download level 2, and build to your hearts content. It's a Japanese masterpiece!

Wild looking ships, man! I down-loaded DoGa once, but never did anything with it, so finally deleted it unused. Now you make me wish I hadn't. As to FuneralLaugh's preference for "photo/film grain look" my understanding and most photos taken from near space suggest very crisp star images, but you rarely see stars in near-earth orbit. It may be that this is a case where if you were actually up there, you'd see plenty of stars, but the brightness of the reflected light from the planet's surface masks them in photos. Dunno which, but I've never seen any with stars in them. My "personal preference" would be to illiminate at least 90% of them. Anyway, you do fantastic work and who says it has to be that realistic anyway? Where's the fun if you can't exercise a little artistic priviledge now and then? :)

Nice. Me likeee. Little bit of odd, looks like aliasing in some of the textures.

Aye, I love the ship models, they look complex and rich! Good work on the engine flares, too...

This is a really fine pic, here - interesting models, nice composition, compelling lighting; never would have noticed some of the things pointed out by other, more astute commentators, had they not been mentioned; but I guess this is all about learning and improving, and most of all, having fun, no?
