Description
Although it didn't occur to me to use it until I had already started on this image, the title comes from an old review of the "Shogun: Total War" computer game, in which the reviewer accidentally referred to the sengoku jidai period of Japanese history as "Sengoku Jedi". The curved "lightkatana" was done in postwork using the techniques Darel Finley describes at http://www.alienryderflex.com/rotoscope/, although I also parented a series of point lights along the blade in Poser.

I have to admit this isn't the first character I've seen to called a Jedi, but I give you pioints for orginality for not making the character more like a samurai but for actually curving blade. I also love the positioning of the backgroung with the character.
