Your right... he does look cool. Great shot. Colors are fantastic, very stark contrasts between the two tone butterfly and the explosion of color in the background. How many shots did you take to capture this one? Thanks for sharing! :o)

I took 30 shots of the butterfly but liked this one the best, expecially because you could see the fur look along its wings, I got some side shots but didn't really like them, hid too much of his detail :)

Great shot. I've yet to capture a butterfly they don't stay still long enough.

this one was pure luck :) was outside taking more shots of gf's flowers for her and trying to catch the squirels playing in the tree's and it flew up to these little red flowers and started working aways on them so I changed my subjects to the butterfly. :)

great picture.... the colours are really vibrant. the out of focus flower in the foreground and the blurred background give this a great sense of depth......... (this is the good bit about caterpillars :)
