Description

This bust is of the late Austrian Emperor "Franz Joseph I." and it was made 1906. He has reigned between 1848 and 1916. It is in the building of the Austrian Post Bank, designed by the world-famous architect Otto Wagner. He was one of the most important artists of the Art Nouveau movement. There are wonderful art-glass tiles around, made by the famous Loetz glass-manufactory.
