Description

This is inside of Red Mountian. My son went on top of what they call hoodoos in here on the bottom of the floor. he went up a diff way but went down what you see between the two and that is where he slip and skin his hand not bad but just to let him know it danger to slip on these rocks. It not sandstone ; it very hard rocks and it like 100 grit sandpaper that will not move but your skin will. the bottom do have loose sand to walk on and is mostly flat. these photos was taken in 2003. so my skills was not good at getting the whole area to show you all. There so much that I did not shot lol. There passages you can walk between the hoodoos and it be on flat land; just one person can pass at a time. you all must remember on this trip I saw rocks all over and where I live if I see a rock I know some one put it there; there no rocks just dirt and mud. Plus this was my first trip in 20 years I guess lol. I posted these two same type photos not know which is better thank you for looking and comments and votes

Fantastic pic Jock! I really like the perspective, and the rocks are amazing! All those different textures 'n' colors. Yes, this one also looks like it would be fun to climb. I'd just have to make sure I'm wearing my jeans and heavy shoes. Both look very cool! V (:

Hoo Doo? You DOO! Do what? Remind me of man...I like the top one best. It shows the size and intimidation of the elements IMHO. :^)

I like the one or top better because it gives more of a sense of scale to these formations. Nice shots, love the analogy to the sandpaper!

It is nice the rock is hard to hold him up on the cliff. The energy is gratifying.
