Description
This Mama Parakeet had 4 eggs, and I was able to get a photo of the first baby hatching! The quality of the image is poor, but sometimes you don't have much time to get it perfect. This was in Mexico in 2003, and was the first offspring which produced many birds. You can also see another photo of them in my gallery. Thanks for taking the time to look.

Well, it's interesting to see that baby parakeets are not quite as lovely as the adults! A fascinating picture, though!

For some reason the second image reminds me of Tweety. I imagined that little thing's beek opening up wider than its body, yelling MAMA! ...yup. Too many years in front of the 'tube.
