maybe a big size terrain can give much resolution and avoid strong angle on the shadows and on the rocks... btw a very beautiful warm atmosphere in this picture!

Good work with the snow surface! Mayday is right, try using larger terrains (1025 or bigger) as this will allow for greater detail & will get rid of the straight edges (jaggies).
