I have been missing from the art world for some time now. My Silverwolf runs with a heavenly pack now and I find myself haunting the places where we spent time. I'm still an artist and I suppose I always will be. I'm still a nurse and that will likely never change either. Now I am also a widow and I have enough darkness, enough sadness to fill the rest of my life with art that is born from love, grief, and loss. He was unique, and the universe made him for me to care for until he was reclaimed. Silverwolf (Atom1972) returned to the stars 12/26/21

Janey, you've done it once again. I was just thinking about you and missing our talks, and questioning some other things, and seeing this puts it all in perspective again (you know what I mean). This is astounding... and looking at the full WIP, well... WOW. Thank you for your constant inspiration, you're wonderful!!

Why am I reminded of those wonderful Beatrix Potter images of Peter Cottontail? Probably because these are equally wonderful and conjure up warm fuzzy feelings of days gone by. Thanks for the littl stroll down memory lane. :o)

XdeFett Thank you for your comment, and to answer your question, I use Painter 8 with a Wacom, for starters. In this particular piece. the bunny is mostly done with this way... airbrushed blobs of base color with the details added with the variable round oil brush. The larger image (in the given URLs) are done much the same way. airbrushed base color over the sketches, detailed with oils, and then sponges over a large majority of the whole painting. The sponging was the only way I could make ithe rocks look "rocky" and textured.. while maintaining a soft painted feel. LOL It's probably not the best way.. but I'm still learning :)
