In Permanent Beta Mode: Learning ,improving sometimes forgetting but hopefully evolving . I remember a time when i had great passion for this creativity stuff ! Since officially forced into a early retirement now its just a means for passing the time .Cultivating the art of self-effacing humor while trying to age gracefully, all thanks to Opdivo and Yervoy for buying me some more time !

An excellent piece...definitely the work of a master artist. It's almost indistinguishable from an "authentic" piece of Slavonic Iconography, the only give away is the artist's signature. To my knowledge, icons like this are never signed...but that's such a minor point offered more as a little trivia fact than anything else. Ultimately, this could be displayed at the Hermitage in Saint Petersburg. Yeah, it's THAT good.

Your very good at these icons, I thought this was an original one, no wonder they sell for you their top notch. Love your 3d pictures as well all excellent, makes me feel very backward. Thanks for the comment on my work glad you liked them.

Wowsa! How do you get that glowing gold leaf look? I've not known much about Byzantium (other than that it once existed) but have recently been reading a couple of books about it. I found them in a library book sale and I was curious of this overlooked part of our western history books and even more enchanted to realize that it was a vibrant, immensely successful empire at a time when western civilization was in the pits. When I saw your avatar I knew I had to look at the rest of your gallery! Great work!
