Description
Nephrotama Maculosa. Black and yellow crane fly.No idea if it's male or female. Untill my wife allows me to buy a dslr and a macro lens this is the best i can do.

Go for the macro filters. You can get them on e-bay sometimes for 20. for 3. That's for 35mm I don't know about digital. It takes practice to use them (I'm still learning) but most rosity folks highly recommend them that's why I went for them. Excellent shot by the way I think you are doing just wonderful!
