Description

This a not finished test render of new textures. I get today a new Digital camera with 4.1 million pixels and Carls Zeiss Lens, a great one Cyber-shot DSC-S85 from Sony! I tested direct and there you see the first effect ( texture head 3500x3500 pixel). Hope you like this. And I go back to my work. P.S the eyes are old not new.

Wow! Absolutely amazing. I think the hairs a bit over the lips give it that realistic look. I love it!!

Sydd, thank you for your comments, I made a 2700x2700 photo of the face, that why the texture is so sharp. If I put the orginal size of the face the head texture will to more that 6000x6000 and that can't, we must think about people that don't have Pentium4, if they try to render it, the computer will crash. I use only 4 grey lights for this render without shadows, the texture is so sharp that you don't need bump map an shadows if you render the face. The light that I use is must that self that I include by Kain textures . It is realy not much to do this all and very simple but what you need are good big sharp photos for your textures. That is why I buy new Digital camera with 4.1 Megapixel that alow you to create textures that you can use for renders that you create for print in A4 format. I think max 4000x4000 is the limit for textures if we talking about print in A4 format. Another thing are your graphic card if you don't have good graphic card you will not get good sharp renders.

Thank you Catharina. I was so focused on the image that I missed your comment. This is the most detailed textures.. I wouldnt change anything. It can be softened in post work.

perspective on skin thickness is whats missing around eyes. pink outer layer meshing into dark red then white eyeball slight blur. the skin, hair,so very excellent!

too much reflection on the eyes, but other then that its photo-real!!!

Odin

the eyes are to eye catching, you keep going back to them, and something about them does not match the whole face...but the image is realy great...hmm. But of course, the eyes are the absolutly hardest part to make realistic, eyes that are not perfect makes the person look like a zombie or something else :)
