Description

A hypothetical view from Umbriel, a moon of Uranus. Uranus is the next gas giant planet out from Saturn in our Solar System, orbiting 2.8 billion kilometers from the Sun. At some time in the distant past, an earth-sized body struck Uranus, knocking its rotational axis out of kilter so that it rolls like a ball around the Sun. Dark, narrow carboneous rings encircle this giant world, their being nearly invisible. Two inner moons, Titania and Oberon orbit along the rings

Nice picture with many details and original colours. Uranus surface seems to be too uniform ; I remember Voyager 2 pictures with more details on this planet...

A wonderful tribute to another great Terragen artist. As always, your terrain and surfaces rock bigtime, Rich. Awesome and excellent work; dramatic and stark in b&w.
