Description
Since my father died in 1996, this has, by far, been the single picture I have drawn most often. I kept hoping that one of these days, I would reach beyond technical reproduction, and capture something of Charlie's character. Sometime way back when, I posted one of my earlier attempts. Today, I proudly post the latest one, done just this morning. I think that for the first time, I may have reached a bit deeper, and come very close to capturing his smile.

I remember your previous post... the first in your gallery if I remember right. Must be 3-4 years back. It certainly improves on it and does suggest at his character... keep it up, we'll see what he looks like in another 3-4 years...
