Description
Another shot from Planet B. The file is quite big but I wanted to show it to you as detailed as possible.
Again I used 2 rock bitmap textures. The grass is 1 bitmap and one artmatic texture laid over a 3D artmatic texture.
Render quality was at good at exactly this size. I will make another render much bigger at best quality over night. I am curious if it will improve the quality significantly. If yes, I will replace it by the new one.
Hope you enjoy.
Thanks for viewing and your comments are very encouraging!
Grass texture by Xlars
P.S. ChiaAnge was right I lowered the brightness of the sky a bit.
Also added some sunbeams in PS.

wow, what a fantastic view!

Amazing amount of detail. I love the colors. The sky on the right side is a bit too light for my taste, :-) but still excellent. I'd love to see this without the border, but with your sig so I can print it. ;-)

Just great. The foreground looks like places in California, but the "pointy" mountain is from another planet, I think . . . very clever techniques, and I suspect a lot will develop from this. Procedural textures with real world image inputs are interesting. . .more powerful than just one or the other.

This rock formation looks so real, I can't tell - the erosion takes my breath...as near to nature like nothing else!
