Description
To be honest, it is rather an effect of 'trial & errors' efforts connected with searching for 'real' skin texture than overthought project.

As I wanted to have clean Vue effect there is no postwork (intentionally). I would like to share with you my settings for texture but during my trials I have discovered that changing light requires adjustment of settings from the beginning. The main idea is: change highlight color from black to much, much lighter; change highlight global size to dull or slightly more; intensity to 50%; play with bump settings until the effect suits your needs; if you are patient play with free dburdick skin materials or mix the fake sss with texture (it adds real impact to the skin). You can find the idea in forum. And add additional lights - it is necessary. In the above picture two frontal spotlights were added. Main - above the camera, and the second one weaker - below so as to make shadow areas slighly brighter.

Excellent work with very realistic lighting and textures. Love the highlights on lips and brows.

Very nice render. Great shadows. And her skin tone is perfect!

The speculars on this are spectacular (pun intended). Looks really great - maybe a bit more bump depth. Thanks for the tips.
