Description

We know there are faultlines running down below. And yeah, we had the most rain in over a hundred years. The land is overdeveloped and the wildfires are getting worse and worse. El Nino comes every other year now, instead of every seven, or eight. The contractors can't be trusted and the geologists "think" the hills and cliffs are stable enough to build on. Yeah, the property insurance costs too much and won't cover anything when you need it. The killer bees have arrived, the mosquitoes are infected and gasoline is at an all-time high. Yeah, we know all that, but just look at that view! *** This was inspired by the hillside collapse in Laguna Beach that destroyed or damaged nearly three dozen homes a couple of days ago. I'm not making fun of their tragic situation, but I am making fun of humans in general and our odd sense of what's important. Greetings from Southern California!

Geologist have rocks in their heads. I know I had a friend who became one. He used to look at pieces of dirt through a microscope for fun. You don't want to know what he did on weekends. And do I even need to comment on contractors? Excellent and oddly amusing render. Like your style.

lol :) Here on the southeast coast all is sand. It washes away and erodes houses into the surf. Us tax payers foot the bill to have sand hauled back in so the sillys can build again. And the silliest is we tax payers keep on paying without yelling "foul" Go figure!!! You struck a chord. Nice work
