Description

- Scotland, Glen Affric - How to get to the next ridge? *scatching head* Everywhere I wanted to go were waterholes and the ground was rugged. The cracks often were broad and deep one could not jump across. And if you jump you don't know on what you jump! LOL I tried detours untill I came to a place where I had to return and tried in another direction. Time also was running. Thanks for all comments and I wish you a funny Friday! ;o))))

maybe that is the excitement - you don't know where or in what you step next! :)) if the time would be eternal for us, I wonder if we would ever stop from wandering! and, by the way - now I make my jump...jum.....ju....j.....help...hel....he...h! :D

Love the warm colours in the foreground, against the constrasting greens behind. To me the fog is irritating, but I'm not blaming you for that! If the sky was blue, this shot would be perfect, but, as is, is simply beautiful. Well done, have a good weekend!

Another nice image from Scotland! The ground reminds me really of Norway, when the snow has gone and the winter shows his marks.

Lady Hiker Rita....I am very impressed. You are walking where the elements of danger exist. You are right not to jump. The view you caught is beautiful. Excellent job and hats off to you for your hikes. Aloha

It can be very frustrating trying to find your way across boggy ground, but it was worth it to get a picture like this - if you had your 'dog balloon' with you, you could have floated across! 8-)

Der Nebel und die Wolken er uns halten Gang mit unserm Schritt./ The secrets of mother earth are cloaked in a blanket of grasses and heather, and dotted with rock like jewels encrusted with lichen. The wind howls, warning the traveler to be watchful while also distracting. The mist and clouds above keep pace with our steps. Oh boy! This one was not easy but I had to try. Hope the German makes sense as I did start writing it in German before finishing it in English and then having to translate my thoughts back to German. Have yourself a great weekend. Viel Gluck mit deiner enscheidung. Es ist wirklich nicht eine einfache sache, aber du wirst das richtige entscheiden. -egmont
