Description

I just couldn't go to Paris and not do a Bas Relief. It won't make the Louvre or the Musee d'Orsay, but I like it anyway! Thanks for looking!

I think you have posted in the wrong gallery. This doesn't look like VUE. The photograpy section perhaps!

Agree with Rokol. What's the Vue part here?

This is a bas relief made with VUE. Very touchy, the photo is loaded into both the terrain object and the texture, and then aligned very carefully. Note the sketchy nature of the building windows. All G2H. Part of the hard part is aligning the light shining on the terrain with the lighting in the photo that it is made from. The photo is a simple boring color photo. The oranges and greys are all Vue, and mainly driven by reflection mapping and control of specularity.

I'm so relieved to know you had a good vacation. That is so fantastic, Clark. I know you really used VUE and why. Might be nice to post up a rakish perspective of it, with a VUE object as proof. Hey everybody, this his how we make Bryce walls from photos! good goin'
