Description

Yesterday, around 3.30 PM, Yes I was early at home, a very sudden change in the weather took place. A "rolling front" was coming--in from the sea over the western part of Holland, over my house. Photo taken from the top floor of my house in a North-Western direction. The traffic in Holland at rush hour was a nightmare and the Amsterdam subway out of order due to the bad weather. (Thunderstorm broke a part of the controlling system!!) Nevertheless, today it is cold again, but hope you will enjoy your weekend as I will do!!!! Have a fantastic WEEKEND!! Henk

One can see the wind blowing the tree almost from its roots. I guess we are being reminded at the fragilness of life and the strength of nature, especially changing from one moment to the next. Excellent capture, especially if the roof was damaged to the house, since you have documented the moment before. Have a great weekend with the family.

That sky is wonderful. My only reservation is that the feathering along the house/tree line has been too big and you have a lighter halo

Schitterende foto. Doet me denken aan een avond vorig jaar toen er ook enorm snel zeer vreemde en dreigende wolken op kwamen zetten, gevolgd door een verschrikkelijke plensbui en windvlagen.
