Description

Apo flame with moon, mist, water, name & frame in Phs.E. The Viking blood still runs deep in some of the Orcadian natives (The Orkneys, North of Scotland)and parts of the northern mainland. Their invasion of Fife, up the River Forth allegedly didn't fare quite so well. Maybe the indigenous Scots - Celts (or Picts - name given by the Romans because of pictures/tattoos on the body) in their full dress makeup of blue wode bodypaint scared the crap out of the norsemen! Even the mighty Roman Empire couldn't overcome this feisty race. They built Hadrian's Wall to protect themselves from the Picts continual raids into England, nicking the Romans' Pasta, Olives, Cherry Tomatoes & Garlic Bread!! Enjoy your weekend Macfeisty!

This really is a lot of fun! You've made a simple flame into a really good picture with loads of atmosphere here.

maybe a little different looking boat but it reminded me so much of the banana boats going from shore to the cargo ships anchored quite a way off shore. Always in moonlight and accompanied by our so loved calypso music.. Bellafonte sang so well..I loved your version of the Scottish version.. thank you for sharind that with us...By the way it is a gorgeous flame..
