Description

This is me and it is one of my daughters and the dance was at her wedding but the setting is not real. The wedding was outside with trees and such but I chose to alter the real setting because I think we were both somewhere else during the dance. We both knew that after this, she was no longer defined as my daughter, but now she was a woman, married and starting a family of her own. I know I was lost in all the memories of her childhood and I think she was too. So I did a setting that was like the real one but also like a mix of many places we had been together. And no, if you are wondering, neither of us cried - if we had cried at that moment I don't think we would have been able to stop.

Beautiful tribute to your daughter!! I imagine it must be one of the most difficult things a father will ever have to go through. I hope you and your son-in-law have or develop a great relationship and that your daughter always stays close with you. Wonderful image and thoughtful sentiments. Great job!!!!

Well, Ross and I are not likely to ever be close friends, but she loves hiom and that's what matters. He and I can get along but our views and personalities don't match well.
