Beautiful! I like a lot of that beight, and yet soft light! Great one for the theme, definitely! I think quite many people waste their life by waiting for the right time - are they sure they notice when it'll come :-)

Beautifully done Gunsan. The person in the bottom of the hourglass speaks volumes. But unlike an hourglass we never know when time will run out for anything.Thats what makes life tragic... but unpredictability also makes life wonderful.Like the hourglass, unpredictability goes both ways.A gorgeous thought-provoking image!Symbolism at its best!

This is really fantastic, it express so much. Wonderful colours. You know, I tell you something about my wish, if I die, then I want that my ash goes in a urn hourglass after my cremation, that is my wish, my family knows, because I am a real busy lady, and I told them after my dead I will working in a different way, so turn me from time to time. Maybe for others it is "a bit creepy" but for me it is a real last wish.

A wonderful work of art. The girl in the bottom of the sand clock is a rather tragic figure. She seems to have let the unknown length of her time weigh heavily upon her. Margana said of the not knowing: "That's what makes life tragic...". I think the not knowing is what makes life an adventure and spurs us on to use every moment wisely and to live life beautifully.

Indeed a marvelous image. We are all trapped by time in one form or another. How each one of us deals with the limited time is what makes it unique. I love this.. VOTE!! :0)

Agree with kansas. This is really a powerfully thought producing piece Gun. Very good work... I see the bottom person and the top person as being one... the lower one is trapped... the upper dreaming or indifferent... eeeeeeeeee
