Description

I was try to get the organic look. The ship is external mesh and the texture is made in Photoshop. Any critycs are wellcome.

One more thing. Try to darken whole rendered ship, and make some light's (red lights). With blur. 4 or 5 vertical lines (blurred, red) as windows or just rectangles. Some spectacular exhaust at the back in yellow color would look impressive. If you need additional space background or extra torpedoes, I give you some. Don't forget to sign your work (ewentually my too). You can sign: www.netpit.prv.pl Thanks. My email: netpit@op.pl

Hey, great effort :) Maybe (and I'm no expert) try to make the scale of the mat/texture smaller to make the ship look bigger? Very cool though :)

A very cool and original looking ship! I like your texture too. I'm of the mind that lights(implying windows,or ports)would be largely useless in space. All navigation would be done from external sensors, not line-of-sight. I would not "darken" your model. You put all that work into the details and modeling and I like being able to see it. Static shots need more light than animations. Keep up the great work!

Nice model, I like the odd shape particularly. Interesting texture you have there, but at present it does make the ship look awfully new. Perhaps you might add some cratering, dust, scratches here and there?

You have a fantastic looking ship. I would, of course, choose UV Mapped textures over Bryce procedural mats. You would really increase the "WOW" factor with a good space background.

This is a dandy model. Very original style ship. I do agree with Burpee that if the mat was scaled down it would give the ship the appearance of being much bigger. Nice work Tantarus. Keep 'em coming. 8)
