Description
For my 301st image uploaded here in Renderosity I'm uploading my latest oil painting (not a great photograph of the painting, but never mind).
I used a Michaelangelo's painting as a refernce for the face.. the rest just happened. ;)

You most definitely have the master's touch, Anat... what strikes me about this most is the wonderful way you have blended the skin tones... that's one of the hardest things, to me, to achieve in art, and what you've done is extraordinary. I mean, ok, I love your Poser stuff (and own a few of your products, all great), but you have a serious talent for this. I'm so glad you posted it in your gallery.

Anat it's very nice to see something different for you and the fact you did it in a traditional way. I find this type work the most rewarding in the end. As for the subject...interesting and a little scary. ;) A piece of work you should be most proud of...well done!

Unlike X-TC, I feel rather comfortable with brushes, but I still bow to anyone doing oil. Anyway, I just think it's an excellent painting. (Note to self: must do less Poser and more paper.)

Of course i had to click on to this painting you obviously do great poser works, but your tallent for conventional painting should not be tossed aside, i to find my self drawn to the 3-D programs to fill the gap in the aeras that i lack in Painting in oils! Excellent Work!

I'm glad to see you do make oil paintings as well! CG painting has of course its benefits, but oil painting is still oil painting... I can imagine many of your pictures here as sweet tiny paintings! :D
